What is frankincense resin used for?

Being farther back than can be remembered, Frankincense has been used for medicinal and religious purposes. The early Egyptians used Frankincense as part of their embalming process, the Greeks used it as an antidote to hemlock poisoning, and the Chinese used it for trading as well as for internal and external interests. Currently, incense is widely used for aromatherapy but many also recognize it as anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and diuretic. Several medical studies have been conducted to show a link between the odds of incense and the treatment of osteoarthritis and may have some anti-cancer fighting agents.

Frankincense has also been shown to help anxiety, disappointment, hysteria, emotional fatigue, nervousness, congestion, anti-inflammation, immune deficiency, insomnia, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, aphrodisiac, emollients, indigestion, carminative, antiseptic, sedative, expectorant, tonic, and also anti-tumor.

Anger has occurred since ancient times and even mentioned in the Bible. The Jews offered incense in the ceremony. It seems that different areas use incense for different reasons; The Chinese use incense to treat leprosy, the Egyptians use Frankincense to harm women's eyelids, hair removal, and perfume. Frankincense comes from a tree named Boswellia Thurifera that can be found in Africa and Arabia. Frankincense is one of the most inedible and unknown ingredients to use in any recipe that goes against those who believe that Frankincense is used in Indian cuisine. It is not known to be used in any cuisine at all but is very helpful for aromatherapy exercises.
